Build your personal execution trigger system — one word at a time.
“One word can change your whole performance.”
1
Your Sport & Situations
Identify 3–5 specific moments where your performance varies most under pressure. Be precise — not "big moments," but the exact scenario.
What counts as a situation? A specific, repeatable moment where you've experienced overthinking, inconsistency, or pressure affecting your execution. Example: "Free throw with under 90 seconds left" — not just "pressure moments."

Script Your Cues
For each situation, write one cue word (1–3 words max). Then run it through the 4-Rule checklist. A cue that fails any rule needs revision before testing.
The 4 Rules ① Short — 1–3 words (1 word is ideal)
② Action-focused — what TO do, not what to avoid
③ Feel-based — evokes the physical sensation of correct execution
④ Tested — in practice BEFORE competition
Add situations in Step 1 to begin scripting cues.
3
7-Day Testing Log
Test each cue in practice every day this week. A cue is not competition-ready until it feels automatic. This is Rule 4 in action.
Script cues in Step 2 to unlock your testing log.

Your Pocket Cue Card
Generate a printable cue card once your cues are tested and ready. Laminate it and keep it with your gear as a pre-competition reference.
