The Quiet Edge

The Same Cue

The cue at 2-0 is the cue at 2-2. Same words. Same body.

Stage 4 Athlete Edition Ep. 9: Performing When It Matters Most
How to Use This Tool

This is Step 1 only. Same cue in the loud minute. Three events. Late-minute log.

  1. This week: Write the cue you already use when it is quiet. Do not write a clutch version.
  2. When it gets loud: Say the same cue. Nothing new.
  3. After: Same, rushed, or a new speech. That is the data.
  4. Week three: Look at the pattern. Keep the cue that stayed the same.

Knowing "be clutch" is not the gap. Two-nothing is not the gym standing.

1. Your cue

Try one of these, or write yours. Same as the quiet minute.

2. Three loud minutes

Same / rushed / new speech is about the late minute, not the score.
